My name is Emily, this is my friend, Eddy, and this is my sister, Maya and her adopted son, Robbie. You may have heard of our owner and cousins, G and Leo, Mikey, Georgia, and Frida. Well, we are her other half of the fun! We are crested geckos, which are very different from bearded dragons! We live in a tropical-ish climate and we are nocturnal. We don't have eyelids, either, so we lick our eyes! We like plants (Fake or real) and we love fruit!!! Usually, we can live off of powder diets formed just for us, and a couple other types of geckos, with added water and we'll be happy! We can climb upside down, too!!! Anyway, we are all named after special people: I am named after Emily Dickinson, the poet, Maya is named after Maya Angelou the poet, and Robbie is named after Robert Frost, a poet as well. Eddy is G's brother's pet, and he was named after Thomas Edison. Eddy and I came from a place called Rhaco Rehab, and the others came from friends and Craigslist. We are now the happiest bunch of geckos you will ever meet! As Leo and Mikey did in their first post, we are going to let every gecko talk, so here's my section. I just came to G's household a few days ago with juvenile, Eddy from a reptile show. We each have a really awesome enclosure and love our new homes. I have some flowers and plants, and some dirt to dig in. I live in a Exo Terra tank with opening doors. I love the space inside! It is large and has lots of fun hideouts. I believe I am getting a hammock soon, too. Yay! I already love my new home and can't wait for what will happen tonight! Morning is coming soon, which means bedtime, so I will hand this off to Maya!
Hello everybody!!!
I am Maya. I am a yellow-ish crested gecko and mom to Robbie and my upcoming biological children. They are in eggs right now, but they will hatch soon! G and her Dad are my favorite people in the whole world. I love them so much! But honestly, everyone is cool. As long as they give me treats. Mmm...bananas. I love to climb on the roof of my Exo Terra tank and eat food. Crickets are one of my all time favorite, probably because I am an amazing huntress. I have lots of blue flowers, because they look good with my color. I love life with the new family I am with, and I love writing, so this will be fun! Robbie is going to go next, because he is secretly a little bit excited, but he will try to hide that.

I'm Robbie. How are you? I hope you are good. I am going to talk as little as possible because I don't want to seem selfish. I am a very small crested gecko, and I am orange-ish. I love to climb and be with G because she rescued me. I probably would have died if she hadn't saved me. My old home wasn't great, but it is a dream here. I have a nice, clean tank that smells like watermelon, with a coconut hide and logs. I have a big orange flower that I like to sit in, as well as plenty of suction cup plants. I have paper towels that are soft on my tiny feet that are nice and cuddly. I like to snuggle up in the corner of my tank under my BIG leafy plant and sleep. My eyes are kind of green, and I like them. I also like G. Did I mention that? I hope your day is going well. I will let Eddy talk now, and I am going to go to bed. Good morning everyone. I am Eddy. I am almost one year old, 26 days to be exact! I have a pretty cool owner. He will be called A. A is a great video-game player and he is very good at math and science. G, his sister, doesn't know that we are using her computer by the way. Anyway, G is teaching A about keeping reptiles, and tonight, he will have a test: he will need to feed me all by himself. Let's see how this goes. She might also prepare a small written test for him to bubble in the letters. That will be interesting. I bet he'll do great. I am okay with my medium critter keeper. For now, I have a small enclosure, but I will get a glass one someday. I haven't been held yet, and neither has Emily. I am looking forward to coming out though! Okay, I guess I will let Emily finish up.
